Did you sleep last night for 7-8 hours? Well, if the answer is yes, you achieved something precious. Quality sleep is that hidden treasure you hardly ever had imagined. Yes, it plays a vital role in achieving the ultimate goals of life. You may have heard the famous quote ‘’He, who contended is rich’’--- enough sleep gives you that kind of satisfaction. A Good Night’s Sleep decides how much your life is satisfied. Also, taking a short nap during the day is not as bad as rumours say. Day napping is good only if it is a nap(you know what I mean). Sleeping for a few minutes in the day time is good to refresh the mind and body as well. Let’s discuss how taking proper quality sleep effects our health and daily activities.

Sleep for your mental health

You know! Our mind is unconsciously busy while snoozing. Our brain gets train and refreshes while sleeping. Enough sleep works wonder as a mood booster as compared to a glass of alcohol. Isn’t cool to improve mood and control emotions without using alcohol or pills--- what if it becomes permanent. This is possible only with an eight-hour deep sleep.

In this age of technology where adults are badly affected by playing games and watching movies on their computers and smartphones overnight, children are also becoming a victim of weak memory and other health issues. All this can be due to the lack of improper sleep and can be covered by quality sleep.

While sleeping, your body repairs itself. Every muscle gets relax head to toe, blood pressure slows down and heart vessels get the time to take rest and required relaxation. As a result, the heart stays healthy. So sleep for a healthy heart, sleep for a healthy you.

To look younger for a long time, quality sleep is the best medicine in the world. Limited or disturbed sleep means less or bad growth of hormone which reveals as pimples, acne, scars and fine lines on your face. Love for sleep is basically love for the skin. Isn’t awesome to have flawless skin without using hundreds of beauty products and yes, without wasting time and money in the salons. So giving time to proper sleep is better than to give time to salons.

Own a smart persona

Napping makes you smarter because an active and healthy body with a stronger immune system is the key to lead a better and smart life. Obviously, when all the body organs and functions will work properly, the immune system will automatically perform better. All this will be done by a single concern about your daily slumber.

Simple Techniques to fight insomnia/Stress while going to bed

1. Do not be hard on your self, if you try a lot to sleep by closing your eyes and fails, try keeping your eyes open when going to bed, lay down leaving the body fully relax, keep eyes open and imagine a beautiful scene like; a cool night, full moon, twinkling stars, light raining(imagine until fall asleep).

2. Do meditation just before going to bed(deep breathing; inhale for three seconds, stop at this step for two seconds and then exhale for five seconds. You’ll fall asleep in no time by doing this method)

3. If both of the above methods do not work, try out this different one. When going to your bed, lay down and suddenly close your eyes to sleep (just do not give even a second to your mind to be absorbed into deep thinking)

These methods are known as the most effective methods to improve sleep among those who fight a lot with their mind’s chaos at night.

Moderation is always the key

Neither excessive is good nor less is okay, moderation is always the key. Sleeping for 7-8 hours is enough to achieve the best. Another fact is; sleeping too long can do more harm than doing good. It may cause more calcium in the body and make the heart performance slow. Also, it may weaken the legs so much that we cannot even walk properly. Sleeping is good for health doesn’t mean get fused in the day and also in the night, yes, sleeping has benefits but only if you do justice to your sleep(7-8/8-9 hour slumber is quite)

Quit the habit of awaking at night, sleeping at 3:00 a.m. and having a good morning at 10:00 a.m. Not only your routine work and daily activities disturb, mental and body health gets upset too(and too badly sometimes).
